7th-8th Grades: ZOE
ZOE meets every Monday until May 7th The snow policy for ZOE is that if the Edmonds School District closes for bad weather, ZOE doesn’t meet too that day.
ZOE is for students in grades 7 & 8 and it begins at 7:00 pm and runs until 8:30 pm. It is a mixture of fun games and competitions led by high school students who are the coaches for the teams. There is a teaching time each week and then we end with small groups. This year’s teaching will focus on the Old Testament and the Ten Commandments.

7th grade summer camp
It is time to register for summer camp, which is being held July 21 - 27, 2019. This is the week each summer that the affirmation program gives students the best opportunity to build relationships with their class and provides an incredible experience to build a young person’s faith. We go to Camp Lutherhaven in Coeur d’Alene, Idaho.
All fees for camp will be paid to Trinity, which then will be paid by the church. Please pay the $50 registration deposit to the church once you have registered online. We need you to register by March 10th, so that our kids get in, the camp fills quickly.
The registration cost for the camp is $405. You pay the camp. If you need some scholarship help with those costs, let me know. There is also the fee you pay Trinity for transportation, food on the road, and Laser Tag on Friday night in Spokane. That is $130 per student, due by June 30, after fundraising is over.
To register online go to https://register.circuitree.com/Lutherhaven/Registration/RequestCode/15729
to begin the process. Also, they list the dates as July 21 thru July 26th. We leave camp that Friday and stay the night in Spokane and come home on Saturday, July 27th.
8th Grade Summer Camp and Mystery Trip
Summer camp at Lutherhaven is July 21 - 27, 2019. Students who would like to return to Lutherhaven for the summer are invited to sign up before March 10th for camp. There are two options for 8th graders. First of all, they are considered high school once summer rolls around. So they can sign up for the high school camp as an Adventurer. This is like camp last year, but as high school they get to do more things, one of them being the high ropes course. –OR- They can sign up for Wake on the Lake, which is for high school students too. This week of camp is spending a great amount of time in a power boat tubing, knee boarding or skiing. Lots of water fun the whole week.
The registration cost for either of the camps is $458. The other fee is the one you pay to Trinity for transportation, food on the road, and Laser Tag on Friday night in Spokane. That is $139 per student, due by June 30.
To register online https://register.circuitree.com/Lutherhaven/Registration/RequestCode/15729. You will then click on registering a child either using last years account or create a new account to sign up your child for that session. Also, they list the dates as July 21 thru July 26th. We leave camp that Friday and stay the night in Spokane and come home on Saturday, July 27th.
Mystery Trip: This is a high school trip that involves the students going on adventures and doing service, but they won’t know where or what until they solve the mystery each day. The trip is June 29 – July 7, 2019 and the cost will be between $600 - $700. A $75 deposit holds the a student’s spot and there are only 23 spots available with a first come first reserved sign up. Talk to David for more information or to give your deposit.
